Junior Cathode Researcher
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Cathode Researcher to support the research and development efforts focused on advanced cathode materials, particularly Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Cathode Active Materials (CAM). The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Material Science, a fundamental interest in electrochemistry, and a strong eagerness to learn and contribute to the next generation of battery technology.
Your Job Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in laboratory experiments related to cathode material research and development.
- Preparing electrode samples and conducting basic electrochemical tests under supervision.
- Supporting senior researchers in material characterization (e.g., XRD, SEM, BET) and performance evaluation.
- Recording and organizing experimental data in a structured manner.
- Demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to research and industry practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including chemists, engineers, and material scientists, to integrate optimized cathode materials into battery prototypes and scale-up production processes.
- Work closely with external partners, suppliers, and collaborators to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintaining a proactive attitude in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Communicating findings clearly, even if results are preliminary.
- Gaining hands-on experience with basic battery testing techniques.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science
- Good knowledge of inorganic chemistry, electrochemistry, and/or materials science.
- Basic data analysis skills (Excel, Origin, or similar).
- Familiarity with laboratory work and standard safety practices
- Ability to work methodically and precisely.
- Full fluency in Serbian and English languages (native, bilingual or minimum full professional proficiency)
