Electrode Production Process Engineer

In the position of Electrode Production Process Engineer, you would be responsible for the preparation and optimization of the production process, as well as for the evaluation of the quality of electrode rolls for LFP batteries, all with the aim of obtaining high-quality cathode and anode material.

Your main tasks would be:

  • Planning and organizing the electrode production process.
  • Process optimization (equipment and materials):
    • Reviewing the mixing process, roll coating, pressing, cutting, and vacuum drying.
    • Ensuring the highest level of equipment utilization.
    • Inspecting the output semi-finished product (electrode rolls).
  • Evaluating different raw materials and processing conditions on electrode performance.
  • Improving existing formulations through thoughtful experiments to optimize mixture performance.
  • Applying mixture characterization techniques to determine the relationships between formulation and performance, and providing strategies for improvement.
  • Identifying and resolving potential equipment problems and communicating with equipment suppliers.
  • Reporting on the status of the production process.
  • Visual inspection of equipment and processes in the electrode production area.
  • Researching and implementing new technologies.

Profile:

  • Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • High expertise in mixture production and mass production coating processes.
  • Preferable experience on a greenfield project.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Good skills in writing clear and accurate production process procedures.
  • Daily written and verbal communication in English.
  • Willingness to relocate to Subotica.
