Junior maintenance technician – L1

We are seeking a dedicated and technically-minded Junior Maintenance Technician (L1) to join our technical team in ensuring the seamless operation of our production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the regular maintenance, diagnostic repair, and optimization of production machinery, electrical installations, and automation systems.

Your Job Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing regular maintenance and repair of equipment, including production machines, electrical installations, and automation systems;
  • Diagnosing problems;
  • Keeping records of all repairs and maintenance in accordance with rules and requirements;
  • Preventing issues with equipment and machines through planned preventive maintenance;
  • Conducting activities related to the dry room and plant in agreement with quality control (monitoring parameters);
  • Actively participating in identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce maintenance costs;
  • Providing technical support to operators to ensure proper use and basic maintenance of equipment;
  • Managing inventory of spare parts and materials needed for equipment maintenance and ensuring timely procurement by communicating with the maintenance supervisor;
  • Actively participating in projects involving the installation of new equipment, upgrades, and modifications of existing systems;
  • Complying with all regulations and standards related to workplace safety and security.

The expected level of independence for the position is:

  • Familiarizing with basic maintenance tasks, machines, systems, and production processes.
  • Performing basic/simple equipment repairs under the supervision of experienced colleagues/mentors.
  • Supporting senior technicians in implementing preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
  • Learning standard operating procedures (SOP) and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrating a willingness to learn and become independent in performing tasks.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues/supervisors/associates.
  • Up to 5 years of prior experience in maintaining production machines.

Position Requirements:

  • Finished high school, IV degree, mechanical or electrical direction
  • Language: Knowledge of English is mandatory
