Your job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead all battery system engineering activities: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of battery energy storage systems.
- Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing engineering team by attracting top talent and cultivating technical innovation.
- Product Development Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to market, ensuring excellence in quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
- System Design and Architecture: Define system boundaries and interfaces, develop comprehensive system architecture, and perform thorough system analysis for optimal performance and risk mitigation.
- Product Layout and Packaging: Design the physical layout of LFP battery packs within the final product, ensuring space efficiency, thermal management, and ease of assembly.
- Requirements Engineering: Document and manage technical specifications from customers, standards, and engineering best practices for LFP battery packs, ensuring clarity, achievability, and alignment with project goals.
- Design verification: Create and delegate design validation plans from testing of the first prototype through to homologation to ensure requirement fulfillment.
- Establish engineering processes: Ensure efficient workflows and appropriate information sharing with all stakeholders is maintained.
- Customer Communication and Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates, addressing concerns, and building strong relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Communication with suppliers of battery pack components: Ensure effective communication with battery pack component suppliers for timely procurement and maintaining component quality in line with production requirements.

Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership roles within engineering, specifically in energy storage or power conversion.
- Proven experience in the industrialization of grid-scale Power Conversion Systems (PCS) is highly desirable.
- Strategic thinking with a strong focus on achieving results and a continuous drive for improvement.
- Experienced with integration of blade cell batteries.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the energy industry.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for Renewable Energy and a desire to contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy storage solutions.
