Production Process Engineer - Electrode Manufacturing

We are looking for a dedicated Production Process Engineer to drive excellence in the critical first steps of battery cell creation. If you excel at optimizing continuous and precision-driven processes, your expertise is essential to establishing our state-of-the-art electrode manufacturing line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and continuously improve all processes to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce waste.
  • Quality Management: Define and monitor critical process parameters (CPPs) to ensure high-quality electrode rolls (cathode and anode), applying statistical methods like SPC (Statistical Process Control) for proactive issue detection.
  • Capacity Enhancement: Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to increase line capacity and throughput.
  • Standardization & Documentation: Develop, write, and maintain clear, accurate production process procedures and training materials for all operators.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards.
  • Controlled Environment & Chemical Handling: Managing processes in a dry room/clean environment and ensuring the safe and precise handling of chemicals.

What We're Looking For:

  • A university degree (VI/VII level) in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A proven track record (ideally 3+ years) in a high-volume, precision-driven manufacturing environment (e.g., printing, film/foil converting, paper, complex textiles, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of continuous manufacturing principles, material handling, and web-handling techniques.
  • Experience with process control systems, statistical process control (SPC), conducting relevant PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and quality analysis methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive actionable improvements.
  • Excellent command of English language (verbal and written) is required for daily collaboration with international teams and suppliers.

You Are Expected To:

  • Demonstrate a high degree of ownership and initiative, treating process challenges as opportunities for innovation.
  • Be a fast and proactive learner, eager to master the specifics of battery chemistry and lead part of the electrode production process.
  • Be a proactive problem-solver with the ability to analyze key production data (OEE, Cpk, Yield) and propose corrections.
  • Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with maintenance, quality, and production teams.
  • Embrace a safety-first mindset and contribute to a culture of continuous operational excellence.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  • Work in an innovative environment leading the way in battery research and development.
  • Contribute to the development of clean energy technologies with real-world applications.
  • Flexible working hours – coordinate with your management and choose your own schedule.
