BESS Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious BESS Project Manager who will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects for the development and implementation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). If you have a passion for working in the renewable energy sector and experience in managing technical and engineering projects, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Your responsibilities will include:
● Lead BESS project execution from concept through implementation and
commissioning with subsequent transition to aftermarket activitities.
● Define work scope and key deliverables for technical and commercial teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
● Coordinate engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to meet project goals, budgets, and timelines.
● Identify and mitigate technical, financial, and regulatory risks.
● Manage communication with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive decision-making and resolve challenges.
● Oversee project documentation, including schedules, reports, and progress updates.
● Plan and execute installation and commissioning activities.
● Optimize project costs and resources while maintaining quality and performance.
● Implement best practices in project execution and quality control.
● Work with regulatory bodies to meet local and international compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a project manager in a product development environment, preferably in BESS or related energy sectors.
- Skills and Expertise:
○ Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams, including engineering,
procurement, and manufacturing.
○ Familiarity with industrial product development processes.
○ Proven track record in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
○ Ability to manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and commercial groups. - Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
- Languages: Proficient in English (minimum C1 level).
